some people still can get their mind around quicksilver [1]. funnily enough i’ve been using this magnificent piece of code since pretty much exactly three years . it’s really hard to explain to someone who just scratched the surface of it, it’s a launcher, hotkey-listener , file-mangler, email-preparer, copy-paste-helper, history-catcher, address-book-search-engine and much, much more. A1c0r, the developer of quicksilver recently made a talk about the inner workings of his software at google [2]. so if you still need a push, then watch the video below in it’s full length, it’s very worth it.

heute per skype reingekommen: röme [1] hat auf seinem youtube-channel den film raufgeladen, den er damals für die SUICMC04 in bern gemacht hat. das ding zeigt extrem schön, wie cool das wochenende damals war. die highlights sind:
Teil1:
- 02:22: roman zu seinem fixie : “de vorteil isch de coolness-faktor” und der suppenkasper, der anschliessend etwas von qualifikation faselt.
- 04:55: “das isch eifach e verdammti mohrerei!”
- 06:12: splints onboard-kamera beim start zum final.
- 06:45: retos “einfahrt” am 20min-posten.
- 08:15 gosis “süsch verschteckis äbe de”.

manchmal komm ich aus langeweile dazu, ins 20Minuten zu blicken. heute ist mir dabei etwas lustiges aufgefallen: das kleine interview mit jessica alba zum filmstart von “fantastic four: the rise of the silver surfer” kam mir seltsam bekannt vor, fast so, als hätt’ ich das schon mal gelesen…
nach kurzem überlegen, konnte ich mich erinnern, das das interview letzthin im close-up! erschienen ist. auf den artikel kann nicht direkt gelinkt werden, aber im pdf der entsprechenden ausgabe (5.68 MB) kann auf seite 23 nachgelesen werden, dass die beiden interviews sich nur marginal unterscheiden.
