the same group behind barcamp Remo Uhere, Dominik Tarolli, William Lüthi und Peter Hogenkamp un-organise the upcoming blogcamp on the 24th of march at the ETH in zürich. it’s supposed to be a conference focusing exclusively on blogging, organized by bloggers for bloggers and is built upon the principles of the famous BarCamp (ad-hoc unconference) in the Silicon Valley. barcamp was really nice and interesting, i’ve met a load of geeky people and suppose blogcamp is also gonna be as nice and interesting.

this hat die schlaue idee gehabt, den abfallkalender der stadt bern als .ics-file zur verfügung zu stellen. da ich auch ein bisschen knausrig bin, und mich nicht per SMS an die abfuhr erinnern lassen will und nicht wie this im kreis b wohne, hab ich mir die daten in den kalender selber eingetragen. wer auch im kreis a wohnt , findet in diesem .ics-file die daten der papier- und metallsammlung (grünsammlung hab ich ausgelassen, weil ich keinen garten hab und meine leserInnen wohl zu verteilt wohnen, als dass es sich lohnen würde, den kalender noch genauer aufzuschlüsseln. feedback erwünscht!

hm, i just wanted to comment on the sweet deal on b.’s blog and found out that i haven’t yet installed the cocomment plugin for firefox on my new mac. so i wanted to do that, but then i couldn’t log into cocomment. no big deal, i’ll just let me send a new password. but then cocomment complains that my username and my email don’t exist in their database anymore. hmm, weird. and the really weird thing is, that there seems to be absolutely nothing in their database anymore… see for yourself here : what is happening? or is it only because i’m at a free hotspot?

we’ve spent a wonderful weekend in leukerbad . since half of italy spent their long weekend in switzerland every hotelroom was booked [1]. so we spent the night in the marvellous schlosshotel in leuk , some kilometers down the road. if you ever want to spend the night in a nice hotel [2] we can recommend it. the beds are so comfortable that you don’t want to leave them, even not for brushing your teeth and making a phonecall :-)
